Chandelier Cleaning
Crystal and fixtures cleaned in place, carefully
A chandelier is the one fixture in a house that everybody looks at and nobody can reach. Crystal dulls slowly enough that most people do not notice until it is cleaned. We clean fixtures in place — crystal, glass, brass, gilt and wrought iron — working off ladders or a scaffold tower over entries, stairwells and double-height rooms. Drops are logged as they come off and go back exactly where they came from, and floors and furniture underneath are covered before anything starts.
Our Process
Cover & Set Up
Floors, furniture and stair treads are covered, the circuit is switched off, and access is set up before anything is touched.
Photograph It
The fixture is photographed from every side first, so every drop and arm goes back exactly where it came from.
Clean & Dry
Crystal and metalwork are cleaned by hand and dried, rather than sprayed and left to dry into spots.
Rebuild & Test
The fixture is reassembled, bulbs are replaced if needed, power goes back on, and we check it lit.
